It guides the clinician through an analysis that may qualify and justify patients for in-home naloxone, helps to select an appropriate dosage form (based on patient/caregiver need, cognition, and manual dexterity) and generates a comprehensive medical record note that memorializes risk assessment for opioid-induced respiratory depression, that such assessment was completed and that the patient (and/or caregiver) were made aware of opioid risks, offered, and if applicable, prescribed naloxone for in-home assess and use.
ORAtel
ORAtel is an innovative application that helps clinicians stratify percent risk of opioid induced respiratory depression based on less that 20 y/n questions. It also assesses the risk of opioid abuse and misuse. At the end, you can generate a chart note that you can copy and paste or save as PDF.
